Oluwatosin Stephanie Olapo, Head of IT Value Management and FinOps at First City Monument Bank (FCMB), has been named Procurement and Sourcing Personality of the Year at the 8th Africa Procurement and Supply Chain Awards (APSCHA 2026).

Olapo shared the honour with Temitope Adedeji, General Manager, Supply Chain Business at Ekofin Nig Ltd, at the awards night held on 29 July 2026 at the Grand Ball Room of the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Her recognition came a day after she took the stage at the 8th Africa Procurement and Supply Chain Summit on 28 July 2026, which brought together over 200 delegates under the theme Unlocking Value Across Africa's Supply Ecosystem, Procurement, Logistics and Transportation in Action."
Olapo joined Diana Ofeimun, Senior Professional at Arla Global Dairy Products, on the panel "From Back Office to Boardroom." The session showed how advanced cost intelligence and FinOps are earning supply chain leaders dedicated seats at executive board tables.

Her win also capped a strong night for FCMB, which was named Best Bank in Strategic Sourcing among the 19 organizational awards presented at this year's edition.
She was one of 32 individual award winners recognised across the public and private sectors, alongside leaders from organisations including MTN, Kenya Power, Flour Mills of Nigeria and the Bureau of Public Procurement.

Organised by Procurement and Supply Chain Magazine (PSC Mag) and InstinctWave Group, the two-day event celebrated the people and organisations elevating the procurement and supply chain profession across Africa.
Group Chief Executive Officer of InstinctWave Group and Group Publisher of PSC Mag, Akin Naphtal, described the awards as a way of strengthening the profession.

"By recognizing excellence, we not only celebrate success, we strengthen the credibility of our profession, inspire the next generation of leaders, and reinforce the strategic role that procurement and supply chain play in driving organizational performance, economic resilience, and sustainable development across Africa," he said.
