he award was presented on 29 July 2026 at the Grand Ball Room of the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, where leading procurement and supply chain professionals and organisations from across Africa were honoured for excellence, innovation and leadership.
Ofeimun shared the Emerging Procurement Leaders of the Year honour with Monicah Mwangi of the PPP Directorate, Kenya National Treasury, in a category that recognises professionals who are shaping the future of procurement through their early impact, initiative and leadership.

Her award followed an active role at the 8th Africa Procurement and Supply Chain Summit, held a day earlier on 28 July 2026 at the same venue under the theme "Unlocking Value Across Africa's Supply Ecosystem, Procurement, Logistics and Transportation in Action."
Speaking as a Senior Professional at Arla Global Dairy Products, Ofeimun joined Oluwatosin Olapo, Head of IT Value Management and FinOps at FCMB, on the panel "From Back Office to Boardroom." The session showed how advanced cost intelligence and FinOps are earning supply chain leaders dedicated seats at executive board tables.

Her win also highlights the growing role of procurement in Arla's operations in Nigeria, where the company has been driving backward integration through its Integrated Arla Dano Dairy Farm in Damau, Kaduna State.
The farm, which now carries a herd of more than 400 cattle, added a yoghurt factory and the Nigerian Dairy Centre of Excellence in November 2025, supporting local sourcing, farmer training and fresh milk production in a country that spends over $1.5 billion a year on dairy imports.
Organised by Africa Procurement & Supply Chain Mag (PSC Mag) and InstinctWave Group, the two-day event brought together procurement, logistics and supply chain leaders from across the continent for conference sessions, keynote presentations, panel discussions and the awards night.
Group Chief Executive Officer of InstinctWave Group and Group Publisher of PSC Mag, Akin Naphtal, described the awards as a celebration of the people driving the profession forward.

"By recognizing excellence, we not only celebrate success, we strengthen the credibility of our profession, inspire the next generation of leaders, and reinforce the strategic role that procurement and supply chain play in driving organizational performance, economic resilience, and sustainable development across Africa," he said.
